Please see below for more information and instructions for how to submit an application Amelia Rising is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected annually from and by our Centre Members.
The monthly time commitment is approximately 10 hours per month and includes monthly board meetings, plus committee meetings and organizational support. The Board of Directors meets on the third Tuesday each month at 6:30 PM, plus adhoc committee meetings. The Board is currently meeting virtually.

Amelia Rising is committed to having a stable organizational structure to support resilient adaptability and overall organizational excellence.
Amelia Rising Sexual Violence Support Centre is a non-profit organization. We are governed by a Board of Directors. The members of the Board are elected by our Centre Members at our Annual General Meeting. If you are 18 or older and live in the Nipissing District, you are eligible to become a Centre Member.
