Public Education is an important and essential pillar of the work that we do at Amelia Rising Sexual Violence Support Centre. Our public educator, along with our placement students, work to bring essential information and training to the local elementary, secondary and post-secondary schools, social service programs, libraries, and many more community organizations.

Due to high demand, please try to allow for at least 2 weeks minimum advanced notice for workshop bookings. Workshops cannot be guaranteed if advanced notice is not given.

While our workshops are free of charge for schools and community organizations, we appreciate donations to maintain our Public Education program. Donations are eligible for a charitable tax receipt. Suggested donation is $50/hour. Please note that most of our presentations range from 30 minutes to 2 hours and that we can tailor the duration of our workshops to suit your needs. Duration of a workshop affects the amount of content that is able to be delivered.
